Electronic lightboards
The role of electronic curency exchange rate lightboards is to inform the clients of banks, credit unions, currency exchange offices or hotels about the price of currencies and conditions of such operation. Date and time are also shown on a specialy dedicated areas of the lightboard.
Currency names and symbols (usually paired along with a flags of corresponding countries) of the currencies are printed on magnetic strips that are easily attached to the lightboard and easily removed or exchanged if necessary. Exchange rates and lightboard setting are changed by an remote infrared light based control unit or computer (software is included in the product pack); integrated internal memory module keeps the saved information even when the lightboard is switched off.
